The
Lake Schooner is a community based monthly newspaper serving the summer
village communities of Buck Lake, Pigeon Lake and Wizard Lake. In
all 3900 newspapers are hand delivered and placed into business drops
throughout the region.
Published
by The Leduc/Wetaskiwin Pipestone Flyer
and Pipestone Publishing Corp, the Lake Schooner is a great publication informing
residents and visitors alike on the events and news in the region.
The Lake Schooner is a new publication that came about when the previous
newspaper, The Lake Harrier, concluded is final publication in September
of 2006.
Currently
the Lake Schooner publishes five (5) times per year, four issues during
the summer months and one issue in late November celebrating the Christmas
season.
If
you visit the area we encourage you to look for The Lake Schooner at a newsstand
in Grocery stores, service stations, restaurant and other businesses.
